SCC believes in the power of story to convey challenging scientific concepts and to inspire change. Creating productions that combine an engaging narrative with live presenters, stunningly rendered visuals, real-time data, and participatory experience, SCC offers clients a new genre of museum/planetarium theatre. SCC productions have been featured at the prestigious Theatre in Museums Workshop of the Indianapolis Children’s Museum and produced by the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. A feature on the Apollo astronauts produced for Global Immersion Ltd. utilizing UniView data sets was recently showcased at a joint meeting of the Mid-Atlantic, East Coast and Great Lakes Planetarium Associations. Whether helping children discover where the elements that make up their bodies come from or readying Earthlings of all ages for the next “giant step” into space, SCC uncovers the drama at the heart of modern science.
